Privacy Policy

1. Who we are. JanWage Swensson B.V., trading under the name Sellingnet, Meervalstraat 10, 7559 BK Hengelo, telephone +31 (0)74 27 77 866, email info@sellingnet.nl, is the data controller for the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. If you only visit our websites. If you visit our websites without being a client, we do not collect any personal data from you. What happens on your computer stays on your computer.

For the sake of complete honesty, one note: our websites run in the secure cloud environment of Google Cloud Platform. Google places functional and analytical cookies to provide the service and analyze traffic—Google informs you about this via the cookie notification on the site. The data collected in this manner is not traceable to individuals by us. We add nothing to this ourselves: no marketing cookies, no tracking, no pop-ups. You can read more about how Google handles data in Google's privacy policy.

Files that you download from our websites are provided as Google Secure Downloads. Security and privacy are our guiding principles here.

3. Newsletter. If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address based on your consent, solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter; your email address will then be deleted.

4. If you are a client. If we work with you, we register the data necessary for that purpose: name, job title, business contact details, organization details, and billing information. We use these to execute the agreement, to invoice (we simply love billing), to maintain contact, and to inform you of, for example, the results of a study. The legal bases for this are the performance of the agreement, our legal (tax) obligations, and our legitimate interest in conducting normal business operations.

5. Participants, coaching, and assessments. For participants in training, coaching, and assessments, we process names, business contact details, and—where applicable—evaluations and reports. Regarding assessments: the candidate has the right to view and discuss their own report before it is provided to the client. We only provide judgments about participants if this has been explicitly agreed upon in advance and communicated to the participants—see also Article 7 of our Code of Conduct and Article 13 of our General Terms and Conditions.

6. Research. Data that we collect for research, such as the Sales Skills Monitor, is processed and published in an anonymized form. Research results are never traceable to individual persons or organizations.

7. Where your data is stored and with whom we share it. We store client data in the secure cloud environment of Sellingnet (Google Cloud Platform). We never sell data to third parties. We only share data with parties that require it to perform our services—such as the accredited Sellingnet partner involved in an assignment, who is bound by the same confidentiality and privacy obligations—or when we are legally required to do so.

8. Retention periods. We do not store personal data longer than necessary. For administration and billing data, the statutory fiscal retention period of seven years applies. We store assessment data in accordance with the agreements made with you and our policy: no longer than necessary.

9. Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and port your data, as well as the right to object to the processing. If you have given consent (such as for the newsletter), you can withdraw it at any time. You can send a request to info@sellingnet.nl; we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

10. Security. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful use. All trainers associated with Sellingnet have committed to confidentiality.

11. Changes. We may modify this Privacy Policy, for example, in the event of new services or changes in legislation. The current version is always available at www.sellingnet.nl.
